Hi there, A little bit about me. I'm an engineer by education but since graduating from college, I've worked in the startup ecosystem. I started out in Inside Sales serving the US market at Simplilearn. While I felt sales is very necessary as a skill, I wasn't too gravitated towards sales as a career. I'm really grateful to my manager for hiring a college newbie to work in his team. Whatever little I know of sales, objection handling, the art of listening and persuasion without being annoying or pushy is because of the 6 months spent at Simplilearn. After a lot of realization, I thought marketing is where I wanted to be. I realized I could write well. The stint at Simplilearn made sure I understood the art of pitching and selling to customers. Combining both of these attributes would make a good marketer. That's what I felt :). But there was another person who felt the same too.
